Azuluna Featured on Boston Public Radio: A Voice for Regenerative Farming in New England
We’re thrilled to share that Azuluna’s very own founder and farmer, Ken Rapoport, was recently featured on Boston Public Radio with hosts Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on WGBH 89.7 FM. He was accompanied by Chris Grallert, CEO of Green City Growers- a Boston based urban farming education organization. Together they discussed the agricultural literacy projects we are working on together.
The segment was a meaningful opportunity to share Azuluna’s mission: to build a food system that nourishes people, animals, and the planet through regenerative agriculture. Ken spoke about increasing agricultural literacy to create a better world through student experiential learning. Programs highlight the importance of rotational grazing, nutrient-rich soil, and animal welfare practices that prioritize health, sustainability, while improving flavor.
Listeners got an inside look at what sets Azuluna apart, including our educational initiatives, premium, pasture-raised meats and chef-designed nutrient dense meal delivery service. Ken also touched on the growing movement of regenerative agriculture in New England, and how local communities are rallying behind transparency and traceability in food.
If you missed it live, you can stream the full conversation on wgbh.org or listen on demand at https://youtu.be/KsdYdl6Bv9U?t=4030. We’re incredibly grateful to Jim, Margery, and the BPR team for helping amplify our story and the broader message of regenerative farming.
Thank you to our community of supporters who continue to believe in better food, better farming, and a better future. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
